What is the line up of the band?
The standard band line up is 6 people, drums, bass, keyboards, guitar and 2 singers but as you can see from our photos and videos there can be as many as 10 on stage. We do have a brass section we can add and more singers we can call on too.
What do you wear?
We love to rise to an occasion and you’ll notice in many pictures we’re dressed up to suit a party theme, Star Wars, Moulin Rouge and many Halloween events..but our standard look is colourful, smart and sporting something tartan.
We are planning a wedding and need a music selection that appeals to people of all ages. Can you do that?
No problem. You have no idea how many songs there are that grandchildren and grandparents both know. We have loads of them in our repertoire.
What kinds of events do you do?
We do ALL kinds of events and parties. It's our job to get people to dance and we take that mission very seriously...by being a lot of fun!
What kind of equipment do you provide? Do we have to provide anything else?
We provide all equipment for our own needs, top spec PA, lights and FX. All we require is a stage and some power.
On the day
What time do you arrive to set up?
Our crew normally arrive early afternoon to set up and sound check which takes about two hours from start to finish. We like to set up and sound check without guests in the vicinity.
What time do you come on stage?
We'll fit in with whatever your schedule is, an average 'onstage' time seems to be about 21.30
How long do you play for?
Again we'll fit in with whatever your schedule is, however what we usually do, and what seems to work best, is a couple of sets of an hour each with a few encores to follow.
Can we use your PA for our speeches?
Yes.
What happens during your break?
We have a great iPod playlist to keep the party going.
